Book Description: This supplement has been prepared to be used with Office of Education Bulletin 1930, No. 24, which is the latest complete bulletin of accredited secondary schools in the United States. It shows under each State: First, names of schools which should be added to the corresponding list in the bulletin; next, those which should be removed whether because of lowering of standards or voluntary withdrawal; and last, any changes which should be at present being shown first, and after that the former listing. In the case of any particular State list where there are a great many additions and removals, investigation will usually disclose the fact that the schools are listed under two or more classifications and a school added to one classification has merely been moved from another. Likewise, one removed from one classification should be looked for under the others. The numbering of the footnotes follows that in the bulletin and the supplement also like the bulletin has been divided into Part I--State Lists, and Part II--Lists of Schools Accredited by Various Associations.
