Entries include plant name, collector, collection date, locality and remarks, and habitat. Date range is April 28, 1897-July 25, 1901. Collection locations are throughout the United States. The majority of the specimens were collected by Barnhart, but numerous other collectors are represented as well. The specimen list is continued from Field notes Vol. 124 (specimens 1-2565). Pages 72-252 are blank.
