The thesis studies the themes of creation and covenant in Genesis, Exodus and Deuteronomy. On the basis of the study of Rom 9-11, it presents the relationship between God's sovereignty and human disobedience as the reality shaping the course of the history of salvation. The notion of God's covenant gives a unified vision to how justification by faith conveys the biblical idea concerning creation's dependence for its redemption.
