Informs Knox that the petition respecting the Waldo patent will be refer'd over to the next Sessions of the Court. Notes the General Heath resign'd his Commission of Major General of this Division, and on Friday the Senate chose me by a large majority but the House elected Brigr General Thayer. He heard that the Senate intends to remain strong in its choice. Free stamped on address leaf with no signature.
