The exhibitions revealed and examined significant aspects of the University's commitment to academic investigation in the visual arts together with cultural development and community enrichment over these years. 'IDENTITY? echoes and voices' (26 May - 23 July 2006) curated by Dr. Janice Lally examined notions of 'identity' as applied to the collection and the changing role of the Art Museum over the years. 'Vincent's eye: 25 years of collecting for the Flinders University Art Museum' (6 October - 19 November 2006) curated by Emeritus Professor Vincent Megaw AM, assisted by Lesley Smith, provided a personal insight into his significant contribution to the collection and Art Museum. This publication documents the exhibitions and the contribution of invited speakers at the opening events.
