Medical papers include Jeffries' medical and surgical notebooks and essays, 1768-1775; orderly books, 1776-1778, from his service as a surgeon; and diplomas and medical commissions. Also includes papers about Jeffries, especially materials collected by Benjamin Joy Jeffries and James Howard Means.
