The reader is then introduced to prostaglandins and prostaglandin metabolites, thyrotropin-releasing hormone, and gonadotropin-releasing hormone. Pituitaty gonadotropins, prolactin, and thyrotropin are also discussed. The remaining chapters deal with hormones of the gastrointestinal tract, pancreatic hormones, steroid hormones, and growth factors.
