To give a faint idea of the number of people of the Park, Parke and Parks names who must be living in this Country at this writing, we would call attention to the list Of names given in the Census of 1790. That list shows over three hundred heads of families and is not complete, as several States are missing. As the majority Of those heads of families have descendants now living - some as many as three or four hundred - it would seem that there must be thousands here now. Some city directories contain over a hundred of our family names, and there must be thousands living in country districts whose names do not appear in any directory.
