He married Ellen Marshall and they had six children. Ellen died in 1888 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Frederick married Eliza Jane Baker in June 1874 and they had eight children. Frederick also married Julia Cox and had one child. Frederick died in St. George, Utah, in July 1921. His descendants have lived in Utah, Mexico, Arizona, New Mexico, and other areas.
