Ten Rhino Poems by Ross Gordon Cooper PDF Summary

Book Description: The rhino are listed as critically endangered. This is sad because they were quite common in the wild when I grew up in Africa. There needs to be a global, concerted effort to prevent their extinction. They are of immense importance ecologically, economically and psychologically. If they are lost there will be a void on Earth that will never be filled. I decided to write ten poems on the rhino following an extensive read of current literature and reports. I wish it to be educational and I sincerely hope that this book will encourage, enlighten and enthuse everybody who reads it. It is my wish that proceeds on sales will reach those dedicated to the care of rhinos as orphans or adults. Together we can help fight the war against rhino poaching.
