It is useful as a board exam prep tool. The Second Edition includes a number of new entries and a new section of algorithms for some of the most common or problematic diagnoses. The organization of the book has been revamped so that all standard 2-page entries are printed in alphabetical order, and pages are tabbed for quicker access. The short entries are printed in alphabetical order in their own section after the standard entries.
