We did it with a Democratic Congress, I will note, and a Republican President. And we are now at a state of need for infrastructure. I know that, coming from the State of Minnesota, where in the middle of a summer day, a bridge collapsed in the middle of my State. I think we all know this aging infrastructure does not suit our country. It is not America. And mostly, as we look at how we expand our economy so we become a country that makes stuff and invents things and exports to the world again, and we are in the course of doing that, to do that we need a transportation system that matches our needs.
