John immigrated to America and possibly settled in Pennsylvania before coming to North Carolina. Both died in Mecklenburg County, N.C. (possibly present day Cabarrus County). Descendants lived in North Carolina, Kentucky, Mississippi, Tennessee, and elsewhere.
