Jacob Haigler, (referred to as Jacob 1st by the author), brought his three sons with him, Peter, Phillip, & George. In 1752 Jacob Haigler 1st applied for and did receive a land grant of 200 acres from King George III. About 1754, Jacob Haigler 1st married Mrs. Johanna Myerin Road. Two sons were born to this union, John Frederick Haigler & Jacob Haigler 2nd. Descendants and relatives lived primarily in South Carolina.
