The British Were The First Who Tried To Bring The Tribal Under The Circle Of Their Political Hegemony. This Resulted In The Revolts Of Tribals In 19Th Century And Subsequently During First Half Of The 20Th Century These Revolts Culminated Into Organised Movements. This Is The Central Theme Of This Study.The Study Is Based On Wide Range Of Sources Which Include The Gazetteers, Census Reports, Administrative Reports, Famine Reports, Gazettes, Contemporary Books, Atlases And Archival Records Etc.
