He was living in Tehama County, California, by 1910. He married Gladys Francis Slye in 1929 at Artois, Glenn County, California. They had seven children, 1930-1944, born at Vacaville, Willows and Fairfield, California. He died at Fairfield, California. Gladys Frances Slye Newcomb was born in 1912 at Oroville, California, the daughter of Franklin Albert Slye (1872-1941) and Grace Lancefield Blunden Slye (1886-1976). Descendants, ancestors, and relatives lived in California, New Brunswick, Ohio, Mississippi, Maine, and elsewhere.
