The document signed by him is the appointment of José Arechavaleta as an officer in the "cuerpa politico del marina." Benito Juárez (1806-1872) was a Mexican national hero and president. The document signed by him is an order for retirement at half pay for José Arechavaleta. Maximilian (1832-1867) was archduke of Austria and emperor of Mexico (1864-1867). The document signed by him is for the appointment of eight individuals to the Royal Order of Guadalupe.
